Description

Last year, while clearing out my grandfather's house, I stumbled across hundreds of hidden envelopes. Every envelope contained a cassette tape, each labelled, Project S. As I listened, I realised that Grandad had managed to rewrite the story of his life. This is the tale of how my seemingly ordinary grandfather played a key role in a major international mystery. Expect hidden messages, obsessive fans, grandmothers, disruptive cockatoos and Belgian indie pop. 'One of the most fascinating experimental theatrical minds at the Fringe' (BritishTheatreGuide.info). 'A Borgesian grip on the imagination' (Scotsman). 'Intriguing, provocative, slightly infuriating' (TheWeeReview.com).

I saw the show on Monday. Amazing storyteller. Genuinely warm, funny and ultimately intriguing. A deconstruction of the man they knew and an assembly of a new and incomplete history, riddled with questions. Very serious in places, funny in others and captivating. And true!!

I absolutely loved this show. Such a creative and engaging way to tell a story, as well as being touching and funny as well. If you see the Fringe as an opportunity for human connection, please go see this show.

This is a brilliant show. Tim is such an engaging storyteller and his story is incredible. This is one of the best hours I have spent at the Fringe this year; can’t recommend highly enough.
