Even a prince needs a woman's first gift. July 1689. After six pregnancies, Princess Anne finally gives birth to a son who survives beyond a few hours. But all is not well. The young prince is unable to feed. An urgent call goes out for any wet nurse who can save the heir to the throne. And one unlikely woman turns the Stuart court upside down. A new musical based on a true story and brought to the stage by award-winning company, Three Chairs and a Hat. Written by Nia Williams and directed by Katie Blackwell.
