Description

A timely piece of theatre for 2022, which is the 75th anniversary of the Partition in India. Mohan: A Partition Story is a piece of oral storytelling which retells renowned storyteller Niall Moorjani’s Grampa’s experiences. With first-person telling from Mohan’s perspective the performance is moving, visceral, emotive and at times hilarious. The story is interwoven with fascinating, haunting and sardonically funny historical insight. Combined, the two strands of storytelling and history create an evocative and thought-provoking performance, set to live music.
