Description
Judith Kerr's Mog the Forgetful Cat, adapted for the stage by The Wardrobe Ensemble. A Wardrobe Ensemble, Old Vic, and Royal & Derngate Northampton co-production. Mog is a very forgetful cat. She forgets that she has a cat flap, she forgets that she's already eaten her supper, and she forgets that cats don't have eggs for breakfast every day. Bother that cat! But Mog's forgetfulness can come in handy... Really enjoyed this show, the production was really professional and polished. The stories really keep the children captivated but adults really enjoyed it too!

The stories really came alive on the stage.
I took my 8 year old daughter today. She has been a big fan of Mog series since she was a baby even though she isn't a big cat lover. She began to giggle as soon as she went in and spotted Dad's arm chair on the stage because she knew what to expect! She was mesmerised throughout the show and loved every moment. I read the series countless times night after night and I was so impressed how well they adapted them for a live stage show. It was seamless and truely lovely. You won't be disappointed if you are a Mog fan, but you will enjoy it even you are not a cat lover or you don't know anything about Mog.

So glad we just made it in time to see Mog today, it was so good! I took my 5 and 8 year old daughters to the show and we all loved it! The stage set and costumes/props were great and the cast were amazing! We loved the songs, the girls are still singing Bother that cat! I would definitely recommend this show!

Superlative theatre for children: immaculate choreography, lovely songs, sincere, funny and engaging performances throughout, with a very clever and pleasing set. All the audience interaction is done brilliantly and just looking around and seeing even the children who began the show a little frightened become utterly enthralled within minutes was extraordinary. The show takes us through four seasons in the misadventures of Mog and her human family, with lots of emotional moments for the small cast who play multiple roles, and very fun costume and staging. I don’t even know Mog, and am a childless adult, but this is one of the best things I’ve seen this year.
