Description
Would you watch the worst things on the internet for a living? Written by Rebekah King, this award-winning play follows two former social-media moderators on a mission to sue the company that exposed them to the most disturbing corners of the web. Based on real accounts, Moderation explores the hidden human toll of moderating the platforms we rely on. Winner of the CUADC Playwriting Award and co-winner of the Cambridge Creatives Playwriting Award, this gripping and thought-provoking show is a must-see for anyone who has ever wondered about the price we pay for a safer online experience. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. At once both heart warming and heart rending, this very well written and well acted piece has really stuck with me. Can very much recommend.

I really enjoyed this show. It dealt sensitively with some very challenging material while also managed to be incredibly funny at times. This is a show with a really big heart and the actors do a great job of portraying their characters in a believable way that promotes a great deal of empathy for their situation. Really excellent play.

This was the first show that I saw at the Fringe this year, and remains up there as one of my absolute favourites. I cannot stop thinking about this wonderful, heart-wrenchingly beautiful piece of theatre. The two actors perform with such flair and nuance, and the heavy themes in the show are dealt with in such a caring and sensitive fashion. This show is a must-see if you are at the Fringe this year.
