Description
Everyday sexism causes insecurities in women. The best conditions offer a sunflower the chance to bloom. But without the sun, they face one other, searching for energy. Without it, they simply die. Like sunflowers, women support each other. This is a monologue that talks about women’s vital transitions in life. Women all grow up to take their role in society without even noticing its constraints. Miedos encourages conversation about situations that are an unfortunate part of daily life but which society accepts as normal, and explores how rules can be broken to live the life we truly desire. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
