Michael Shafar – Well Worth the Chemo

Comedy (stand-up, solo show)

Description

One of Australia's most exciting new comedians is coming to Edinburgh! You might know Michael Shafar from his debut special (A)Live on Amazon Prime or be one of the 70+ million people who have seen his videos online. This Jewish, testicular cancer survivor, lawyer-turned-comedian is in Edinburgh to prove why, according to his own oncologist, he was 'well worth the chemo'. 'Shafar circumnavigates the line between edgy and offensive with beautiful finesse' ****½ (TheAge.com.au). 'If you fear comedy has gotten too politically correct, Shafar will put those fears to rest.' **** (Time Out).
