Description
After a sell-out 2023 season, your favourite Jewish Australian cancer survivor with one ball returns to the Fringe. In this hilariously dark show, Michael Shafar explains the benefits of losing a testicle, why cancer survivors have the most positive attitudes of anyone and how chemotherapy can really help people achieve their goal weight. 'A wildly inventive, darkly comic imagination' ***** (TheEdinburghReporter.co.uk). 'Shafar circumnavigates the line between edgy and offensive with beautiful finesse' ****½ (TheAge.com.au). 'If you fear comedy has gotten too political correct, Shafar will put those fears to rest' **** (TimeOut). Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Really enjoyed this, a very funny show and the best comedy I've seen at the fringe so far!

A comedian that will have you cackling with laughter. A extremely well-crafted show that is absolutely hilarious.

Very funny man, with a great style: lots of laughs, even (especially) in the darker moments. Very likable, and you are safe in the front row. The best comedy i saw while in Edinburgh.

We really enjoyed Michael's show - he's very likeable and has an ease with the audience that just makes it so much easier to get on board with what he's saying. Lots of laugh out loud moments throughout, and even though there was dark humour (which we loved), it still felt very light hearted overall.

Most underrated show/comedian I've seen in 8y of the fringe. If you like a bit of dark humour you will come out with stomach cramps from laughing so much!
