Scotsman Michael Herd, one of the rising stars of the English comedy scene in China, spent 14 years in the People's Republic and has returned to live in Scotland after doing most of his adult growing up in China. Now he doesn't know what his identity is – and will share his hilarious cultural clash tales from Shanghai with Edinburgh. 'Material that will wow' (Comedy.co.uk). Swinging between China and Scotland, Mike had us laughing throughout his show, leading us on with his stories then hitting us with his punchlines. If you think you know Scotland or China, see this show. It makes the familiar funny and the strange familiar. A genial comic.
