What an absolutely delightful show this is. Absurd, funny, touching, and wonderful. A lo-fi gem. One of my favourites of this year's Fringe.

This show was great fun and I had a good laugh throughout. Like many people at the fringe I'm drawn to alternative comics who offer something completely different to the norm and World of Sports gets the gold in this category. Michael was fabulously weird and was able to get the audience on his side from the start and joining in felt like a natural choice given the fun we were having. If you're in any doubt, take it from me, go! You'll love it.

Turned up with 2 mates yesterday (part of the lovely dozen Michael refers to in his tweet). A madcap hour of weirdness and silliness that left us all scratching our heads afterwards. But we thoroghly enjoyed it. The octopus on a stick with the weird jangling bell sound effects accompanying was comedy gold. No idea why, it just was.To me this show was the very essence of the Fringe. Stull chuckling at that octopus today.

I've seen Michael Brunstrom before but his shows continue to surprise, whether that be the appearance of an unlikely prop or a stealth transition into a song. There is a narrative to this show that binds it together, but what I liked the most were the range of experiences we were led through: from adrenaline-filled games to poignant monologues, kafka-esque weirdness to unabashed silliness. Michael clearly has affection for his audiences and it felt like we went on a secret journey together, one that left my and my partner beaming as we left the venue. Highly recommended.

Grandstand is the greatest TV theme tune of all time (don’t @ me). So the fact that Michael Brunström has it as the pre-show warm-up music to this hour of sports-themed madcappery is only ever going to put us right on his side. A man who looks like he’d be...

Brunström goes not just sporty but positively dramatic in this latest outing. ...
