Description

Scotland’s professional touring company celebrates 10 years with one of the world’s best-loved operettas. Set in the romantic city of Paris, various suitors squabble to win the hand of the recently widowed, but very wealthy, Hannah Glawari. The production showcases some of Scotland’s finest young professional talent, including Catriona Clark, Douglas Nairne, Marie Claire Breen and Andrew McTaggart. John Wilkie creates a magical new production designed by Alisa Kalyanova, with Alistair Digges conducting the Bohemia Ensemble. The Merry Widow is full of iconic Viennese melodies like Viljah, The Merry Widow Waltz and Chez Maxim's.
