Description

Come see a humorous solo with a TEDtalk-meets-Sesame-Street vibe about end of life planning, starring 'a hilarious puppet sidekick and wholesome audience interplay' (FringeBiscuit.co.uk). Expect ridiculous deathly shower thoughts, an introduction to the fascinating funeral industry's history and current developments, the complex poetry battling the simple biology of death and a look around the world for ways to do dying better. It's a 'compassionate, surprisingly educational, funny celebration of mortality' and 'a refreshing normalisation of one of life's greatest griefs' (BroadwayWorld.com).

General venue access

  • Wheelchair Accessible Toilets
  • Accessible entry: The audience enter the venue from Merchant Street, with the box office located on street level. 3 steps or a lift provide access to the upper foyer, with snack bar and toilets on this level. The space is located immediately off the upper foyer, with one row of seats on the same level. A shallow rake provides additional seating.

  • Stairs: 2 - 5
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
