Description

Meddlin' Kids, the beloved kids show about four mystery-solving teens and their infamous dog, has run for 26 seasons. The gang are now grown-up and fed-up with the characters they've been playing for years... Join Frank (the leader), Darcy (the hottie), Veruca (the brains), Humpy (the hipster) and Robert Dubois (the dog) for one final crazy mystery to save to the day... and maybe even, the world? This brand-new romp for all ages by Cambridge Footlight Will Bicknell-Found promises to be 'captivatingly creative, impressively energized and frankly just very, very funny' (Varsity).

Utter brilliance! It wasn’t just nostalgia that had me splitting my sides. My review is a bit late - sorry but this was so good. Thank you.

I’ve been the to festival for the past couple of years and if I had to pick one for the whole family, it would have to be ‘meddlin kids’. I am a 13 yo and I have 2 brothers both older than me, one being 19 and the other being 22 and we all laughed our socks off! I would highly recommend it as it’s hilarious for all ages and ‘tickled’ all the right boxes.

Do not miss this if you ever saw Scooby Doo as a child - and who didn’t?!!!
It was without doubt one of my favourite shows of the last 3 days - so clever and really funny. The best possible start to our day and really got us in the mood - thank you!!

Fab show. Loved every minute and giggled all the way through! Suitable for all the family - clever concept, witty writing, great characters and such fun!

We went to this show as a family of 4 and laughed from start to finish. Witty, zany with more than a hint of comedy improvisation. Loved it - brilliant for all the family.

A quirky, humorous and creative take on the classic cartoon series. Definitely entertaining for the young ones but even more so for the older ones as it’s sarcastic wits, improvisation and comedic tone are brilliantly shown from the cast. Also, JUST SAY ZOINKS!

Scooby dooby DOO come to this show. Mesmerising parodic take on a timeless animated CLASSIC that exposes the REPETITIVE THEMES, REPETITIVE SUBJECT MATTER, REPETITIVE PLOTLINES.

This show was a real little gem. I must admit that, upon entering the auditorium and seeing the ghost, I wondered if I'd made the right choice but it only took 5 minutes into the show to confirm that I had. We were a party of 8 of all ages and with different taste - we all thoroughly enjoyed it and giggled our way through. Can't recommend it highly enough!

I brought my kids to see this on a rainy and miserable morning and left with high spirits and two happy children! Would recommend to anyone, the show caters for all ages and promises a lot of laughs.

Fabulous start to a day at the Fringe. A multi-talented crew delivered a stellar performance that took us on a trip down memory lane. Clever humour combined with ghosts, suspicious characters and a few clues. Truly a show for everyone!

Gags a-plenty as the nostalgic Saturday morning cartoon parody of “Scooby-Doo” is brought to life on stage. The time rockets past as the gang have one final mystery to solve. The cast have their characters down, as well as the style of the cartoon show plot progression. Along with this they have brought their own charm, wit and charisma both kids and adults can enjoy! Can’t recommend enough, a great show to kick start your day at the Fringe!

I saw this yesterday with my two boys (Comrie, 10, Danny 8) on a complete whim after another show plan fell through and I'm so glad it did!! They both absolutely LOVED it and were singing the songs all the way home! One of the few shows that my hubby and I actually enjoyed alongside the boys, couldn't recommend it more! Keep up the great work Chuck Salmon Productions x

Fun, silly, dumb and...fun! Come along if you love nostalgia!

I came to watch Meddlin Kids on a depressingly 'big' birthday but left feeling full of the joys of fringe. We went as a typical nuclear family of four and all laughed a lot. It is cleverly written and the cast are all clearly naturally funny. It was good to see my almost teenage son giggling heartily. I would recommend it, good clean fun for families or just adults. Our highlight was the old, crusty, one legged, hook handed pirate and his grandson Craig!
