Description

Maxine Jones, 62, has left home on a bicycle to become a nomad. It's like a gap year but it could be a very long gap year. It could be the gap between parenting and death. She cleared out the attic, let out the house, abandoned her sons, clipped on her panniers and set off. Running for Ireland, matching socks, getting the gravy right, going on Countdown – Maxine has faced life's challenges. This is her latest. As heard on BBC Radio 4 and RTE Radio 1. 'Top 10 feminist fatales' (Chortle.co.uk). 'Outstandingly funny' (Entertainment.ie).
