This was very slick and professionally delivered. Very funny and touching, will see these guys again. I'm still thinking about it...

This is a delightful show about friendship, fathers, and fate. Two comic actors give an extended chat update about their lives. We were initially put off because we thought from the blurb this would be a comedy skit act… this is not skits at all… it is a funny yet poignant discussion about choices that we very much enjoyed.

After 2 weeks at the fringe, I can say that this was the best show of the roughly 40 I saw. As always, Max and Ivan are extremely clever, lightning fast, top-notch comedy, and this time their show is also very touching. Wholeheartedly recommended.

I thought the Matt & Ivan show was tremendous! Multi-generational understanding that sometimes life does not work out as planned.
What’s not to love.
Go and see it and feel alive!

We were given a flyer and with 10minutes before the show started booked tickets. We absolutely LOVED this duo…funny, heart felt and very well put together. Having just discovered this duo, I hope to see more of them in the future….! We saw 14 shows at the fringe, this was our favourite! 5 stars! Must see!

One of the best shows I’ve seen this year.
Funny, heartfelt, authentic & even flamboyant in parts.
We’ll worth seeing.

Lovely guys and you can tell they put their heart and soul into what they do. Some of it was hit and miss but overall it made me chuckle. Would go see them again for sure to make up my mind on this duo!

I've seen there last 4 shows and this one is on par with them.
Very funny, very heartfelt, very well constructed.
Highly recommend.

Wonderful. To be honest I booked the show as we had a space between 2 others it fitted into and I'd heard their radio show a couple of times so thought it was worth a stab, but we came away wishing we'd found them years ago and got to see their other shows. Hilarious and heartfelt, a show about family and friendship. One of the stand out shows for us this year.

Max & Evan set the bar high with previous performances being amazing. So sadly we thought this lacked the zing & hilarity that the Boxing & stag night created. A bit too predictable for an act that usually delivers the totally unexpected. But still worth the time spent queuing at the Pleasance .

Spotting a Max & Ivan show on the fringe listings is always a positive for us. Other shows have to be booked around a commitment to see them.
We were there for the first preview show this year and loved every second. The chemistry is so strong, the comedy so well written and delivered.
We’ll be looking out for M&I in next year’s programme!
