Description
This is one small set for Matt, one giant leap for Matt’s kind (ie science geeks). With humanity planning to return to the moon in 2025, this comedy show is about the Apollo missions, the last time man stepped foot on the moon (yes, it did happen). This show is more about the journey than the destination. Telling the stories about the men who walked on the moon and how they did it. How did they get there? How did it make them feel? And how is Phil Collins involved? Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Superbly entertaining and very funny show. Who knew there was so much to learn about the moon landings, which I “saw with my very own eyes on the TV”! Matt is a very engaging and funny guy – I would really recommend this show.

A funny, enjoyable and educational look at the tales behind the moon landing. We came to see Matt in this show as we enjoyed the Stand Up Science show he is also in at the Fringe. Matt didn’t disappoint in this show of his own, with a friendly and entertaining approach, and a clear love of the topic and sharing his passion for science. We found this a refreshing change from some of the more competitive, antagonistic performances of other solo Edinburgh shows, as Matt comes across as doing this show for the joy of sharing his jokes and facts. Clearly a lot of background research went into the show and we recommend this to anyone interested in the moon landings, and science from a comic perspective.

A really funny and interesting show! There are so many entertaining stories connected to the Apollo missions that I'd never heard, and they are told brilliantly
