Description

Mat Ricardo – 'undoubtedly one of the greatest variety artists working today' (Scotsman) returns to the Fringe with a late-night spectacle designed to leave you waking up the next morning with blurred memories of things you can't really have seen, can you? This is knock-down, drag-out, scalpel-sharp shenanigans from a cast of bona fide international superstars of circus, comedy and cabaret who all share one singular vision – to drop jaws, split sides, and burn the house down. 'In terms of entertainment, Mat Ricardo's Varieties simply cannot fail' (Stage).

What a show! Mat Ricardo is charismatic and a perfect host. Skill and showmanship weaves throughout every incredible set he performs. Totally breath-taking! What a line up of fantastic performers and such variety - it does what it says on the tin and so much more! Tom Crosbie - wonderful and how does he do that with a rubiks cube? I have never seen a sword swallower - not knowingly - but again - Wow! Finally Ada Campe was wonderful - hilarious, unique and bonkers! I was quite tempted by her finger of fudge and was delighted to meet the duck!! I felt that she could entertain me for hours...Get tickets now!

Really enjoyed this show. Top notch circus and a chance to have a bit of a sampler.

Loved this show - an awesome selection of talented acts, hosted by Mat Ricardo - who never disappoints. We watched Mat on America's Got Talent last month, and were thrilled to arrive in Edinburgh and see he was performing.
The sword swallower was brilliant - so slick, and Ada Campe was funny, exciting, and bonkers - we've booked to see her show off the back of it. The rubiks cube performer, Tom Crosbie, was also fantastic - so self-deprecating for such a skilled guy!! Go see this show - couldn't recommend it more

The word ‘legend’ is bandied about a bit too much these days. Like ‘genius’, or ‘barista’. But if there’s one man on the cabaret circuit who deserves that status, it’s Mat Ricardo. Adored by audiences, worshipped by performers, and with a trophy cabinet to rival Manchester United in the 90s,...
