Description
The Manchester Revue's Lonely Hearts Sketch Club is not a tribute act. It is a show about the youth, gender, society, society in turmoil, pop culture, heaven, hell and everything in between. It uses the blunt and rusty implements of contemporary satire: inane dancing, low comedy and blatant plagiarism. Adapting The Beatles' seminal album Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, an array of sketches have been written with the song names in mind. Lonely Hearts sketch club is no gimmick. Lonely Hearts Sketch Club is entertainment. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
