Paul Nathan is a stunning magician in a venue that does not reflect his abilities - a small tent on a back street. I don't know why he's there when his sleight of hand is sublime and he's such a funny and charming man, but wherever he is, go see him and enjoy feeling like a child again as he performs the impossible in front of your eyes and, sometimes, in your hands.

Saw the show tonight. Fantastic. Great magic in an intimate setting so you really get the chance to see the tricks close up. But still had no idea how he did them! Very funny as well. Really worth seeing.

We went to see this simply because it's not easy to find a show at 9p.m. suitable for a child. What a joyful stoke of luck that was. The magic tricks are amazingly accomplished, but the real strong point of the show is the ease, charm, wit and assurance of the performance. It takes so much more than mere technical ability to be a first class illusionist and this bloke has it. Can't recommend highly enough - go and see him (though it's possible that he's in league with the Devil...)!

Such a small tent. Unfortunately even this tiny venue was only half full. A really big shame because this magician is a terrific performer and he kept the audience spellbound. He worked hard but is obviously an experienced professional. Deserves his own TV show. If you are reading this and still have the opportunity to go, don't miss this! Nobody can be making any money so maybe he just enjoys working.

First class illusion done close up, carried out so deftly it would be possible to believe that magic was actually happening.
Close up and personal without being intimidating.

A brilliant entertainer. Kept us spellbound the whole time. Everyone there got a chance to take part. Was like being in his living room. Suitable for children.

Paul Nathan is a name often associated with the I Hate Children Children’s Show, a firm Festival favourite for years amongst little ones, but he is back this year with a brand new show – and this time it’s aimed at the adults. We hear Nathan before we enter the...
