Description

Ten years on from its debut, MacPherson's Rant returns to Edinburgh to tell the tale of Scottish outlaw James MacPherson and the tragic events that led to his unjust hanging in the 1700s. We follow James as he encounters overwhelming love, devastating loss, and betrayal. This production takes you on a musical journey amidst the tension of the Jacobite uprising. Set to some of Scotland's most iconic music including songs by Robert Burns as well as original works. MacPherson's Rant is brought to you by local theatre company Blackout Productions.
