Description
In a lab on a spaceship orbiting desecrated earth, two scientists run a failing experiment in procreation. A reckoning with their abuses and a lab accident leads to the birth of a fury. Alecto is the artificial-intelligence angel of unceasing anger, the psycho-pomp of the modern male era. Machine Yearning is a devised physical theatre piece which centers the question, how does exploiting others lead to alienation from our own humanity? Our collaborative devising company is comprised of students from theatre schools across the US, who have joined together to workshop this play as our debut Fringe project. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
