Description

An intimate short play focused on the complex deterioration of a wife and the relationship with her husband. Based on Kate Bush’s hit single Babooshka, this captivating exploration into the ways we utilize the self can only lead our wife towards a spiraling end. But where did our wife go wrong? Focused on the incorporation of projections, creative lighting techniques and evocative poetry against a backdrop of a 1940s household, Lucika is a paradoxical performance designed to compel an audience to question their own relationships and the masks that they wear to feel loved.
