In 1950s high Stalinism, Russia was a 'utopia'. School teacher Oksana thought she had found her own utopia when she married high-ranking Bolshevik officer Alexei: yet her marriage soon mirrors Russia’s true terror as hidden behind the iron curtain of their perfect marriage lies abuse, threats and secrets. You can’t trust anyone in a police state – even the ones you love. Without leaving the theatre, experience the horrors of Stalin’s Russia as Minotaur Theatre Company premiere their thrilling new historical drama.
