Description

Virtuoso duo explore the complimentary, rich and mellow sounds of acoustic double bass and guitar, made by four hands, ten strings and two bits of wood. An hour of beautiful tunes, fusing genres – folk themes, jazz chords, renaissance rhythm, rock energy and film atmosphere. Launch event for new album, In Arden, featuring innovative acoustic compositions inspired by Nick Drake, the Scottish Guitar Quartet and Clive Carroll. Standing on the shoulders of giants like Danny Thompson and John Martyn, Ron Carter and Jim Hall, or Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen and Joe Pass.
