Rising stars Louise Young and Anja Atkinson make their Fringe debut. Regulars at The Stand Comedy Club, Newcastle these fiery lasses shouldn't be missed. As heard on BBC Newcastle, Louise Young is becoming known for her adept social commentary and plentiful gag rate. Branded ‘dynamite’ by Punch Drunk Comedy, the Funny Women New Stage Award finalist (2017) is joined by Anja Atkinson, who is garnering attention for her relentless, caustic wit. Billed as ‘an exciting talent and one to watch’ (Carl Hutchinson) and Mr Shindigs New Act of the Year.

General venue access

  • Accessible entry: Stand 4 is accessible from the pavement with steps leading to a courtyard. The venue is situated in the basement part of the building. There are 15 steps in total with a 90 degree turn. Once inside the venue, it is level access to stand 4 with a right turn.Staff always available to help and assist access customers where appropriate.
