Got a real sense that this guy loved Victoria Wood, and along with Michael Roulston on piano, brought back some enjoyable and at times hilarious memories of one of the best comedy legends. Was funny from start to finish.

I went yesterday to see this show. Fabulous to hear how much the guys love Victoria Wood. I would definetly recommend this one. Excellent show x

Really enjoyed this show. You could almost see Victoria shining through Paulus’s eyes. Heart warming and sincere. Great piano playing too. Go - you will be glad you did.

A must-see for Victoria Wood fans. A genuinely heartwarming, endearing, and even slightly emotional show celebrating Victoria's work. Fantastic vocals, piano, and an impressive repertoire of some of her best quotes! It was a pleasure and privilege to see this show. Please go if you're a Victoria Wood fan; you will leave with a smile on your face!

Hugely nostalgic, enjoyable and reminded me (although not a lot of reminding needed!) how amazing Victoria Wood was. The songs were brilliantly performed and I was beaming from the start to the finish. What a wonderful and feel good show!

This was the loveliest, heartwarming -yet FUNNY tribute to the late great Victoria Wood!
Paul Martin is the consummate entertainer combining hilarity and excellent singing with precisely the right amount of pathos to make this a beautifully fleshed-out show. And the VW banter Paul tried with pianist Michael Rouston was just charming! If you love Victoria Wood - RUN to see this!

As a Victoria Wood fan, i can tell you that this tribute is a barnstormer of a show and a privilege to watch. Paulus conveys the light and shade of her writing exquisitely. Michael Roulston on piano (and occasional additional vocals) delivers a performance full of love. Sarah-Louise Young has directed the show with so much empathy, it's really really special. If you're at Edinburgh Festival Fringe you have a few days left to catch it - GO! I laughed so much that I'd have wet myself if I hadn't had a large white burlei body, and I haven't shed that many tears since I fell off a diving board in Guernsey.

Let's Do it! The answer to the question shall we go and see this.
A show providing many memorable moments of a very funny and sadly missed comedienne. Once you get used to it not being the brilliant Victoria tinkling the ivories you soon become absorbed into the great lyrics of some highly amusing songs.

Omg this show was pure magic. A joy to be part of this journey through the memory lane that was Vic. Lovingly executed by a true professional. Thanks for the memories Paulus and we will look forward to catching up with you @ the Crazy Coqs in October xxx

Best show of the festival - didn’t want it to finish - Paulus is a master at performing!

This show was a beautiful homage to Victoria Wood’s work, whilst creating a personal touch and warm lovely theatre space to enjoy the show.
With Paulus, we are completely at ease, as he guides us through an often hilarious and regularly touching journey. Michael Roulston, plays the keys with sensitivity and flare, adding to the atmosphere. The relationship between the duo, adds to our enjoyment.

Paulus and Michael clearly love Victoria, they found each other in a safe place through her work. But, even if you are not so familiar with Victoria’s work this won’t detract from the enjoyment of the show, which might seem an obvious statement to those that know her work well.

We came away having laughed, cried, and hugged. And haven’t stopped Googling ‘Victoria Wood’ since (and Ovaltine… needed to double check on that one). Congratulations!

So far seen 21 shows, including mainly household names. This was the best show we've seen so far. Miles better than Les Dawson...believe me.

This was like going round to a friends on a Friday night & sharing found memories of another friend. Interspersed with Victorias witty lines & quips plus fabulous renditions of her songs, Paulus sang these with flair & beautiful diction.
His pianist ( who bore a remarkable resemblance to Dominick Cumberbatch) also deserves a mention. The camaraderie between the guys was palpable & this was a really good show.
Thoroughly enjoyed it, we’ll worth seeing.

Saw this earlier this week. A wonderful combination of talent and love for their subject matter. Beautifully delivered with great humour. Go and see it!

This is a love letter to Victoria Wood. I just cannot get enough of Paulus' masterful voice and acerbic comic delivery. When this is supported by the fabulous Michael Roulston working his magic on the keys and then underpinned by great works of the super human comedian and musical talent that is the late Victoria Wood, you have nothing short of the very definition of awesome. I highly recommend this show. It's a masterclass in entertainment and a free badge to boot!

This show was authentic and heart-warming, I loved it even more than being beaten on the bottom with a Woman's Weekly!

A beautiful, heartfelt show that is so much more than a tribute. Accompanied by the fabulous Michael Roulston, Paulus brings us a rich smorgasbord of Victoria Wood material in celebration of her wit, humanity and sauciness. Paulus is a sparkling performer with oodles of cabaret experience and he offers his skills here in a well crafted appreciation of the undisputed Queen of British comedy. Delicious.

This show is like putting on your favourite cosy cardigan and snuggling up on the sofa. Paulus greets you as a friend and you know you are in safe hands. He has great charisma and shares his love for Victoria Wood in a touching and comedic manner by singing her well known and much loved songs along with reciting plenty of her famous one liners. Michael accompanies Paulus on the piano and the two have a great rapport. A lovely tribute performed by two great performers who clearly share a genuine love of the wonderful Victoria Wood.

This is not a tribute show, it's much more than that. As Paulus said: "it takes two men to do the job of one woman half as well" and this show is a lovely opportunity to celebrate the legend that was/is Victoria Wood. Paulus sets everything up so beautifully and gives Victoria the spotlight throughout. You feel like you're sat amongst dear friends who share a passion but at the same time have lost a family member. The programme of material is taken right from every corner of Vic's catalogue and Paulus' own personal anecdotes are so touching. A show not to be missed if your life wouldn't be what it is today without Victoria Wood!

Absolutely fantastic show, whether you know Victoria Wood’s work or not (though how can you not?)
Excellent voice and very well performed throughout. All the classics and yes, they do do it!

A bitter sweet walk down memory lane, reprising the work of the much missed national treasure that is Victoria Woods. While the performance was impeccable, demonstrating the same comic timing for which VW was famous, what stood out for me was the genuine warmth the performers had for their subject-matter. Simply put, this is a must-see for fans.

Simply lovely. A beautiful tribute to the genius of Victoria Wood from an extraordinary craftsman. If you’re a Victoria Wood super fan this is a real treat, and if you’re not, go to discover the colourful, vibrant, hilarious world that this wonderful woman created. Paulus and Michael’s partnership is wonderful - it’s an hour where you’re made to feel like you’re hanging out with your best friends in the warmest and funniest of worlds.

This felt like a truly honest tribute to a family member. Paulus passionately describes how Victoria Wood was woven into his childhood and the impact she had on him. Touching, comical, entertaining and emotional. A lovely way to spend an hour on a Tuesday. Left the show feeling happy and positive. Great tunes beautifully delivered. Loved this show. Thank you Paulus and Michael.

This show is an incredibly thoughtful and loving homage to Victoria Wood's creative genius, executed with humour and so much love by the wonderful Paulus and Michael Roulston. If you like songs and stories about the lesser-discussed parts of life, see it, you will not regret it! (This review was drafted with a 13 colour biro)

Utterly wonderful show! Paul captures the heart and soul of the much-missed Victoria Wood with this collection of her songs, alongside some of her best known lines and skits. What makes it extra special is the fact it all comes from a place of genuine love for Vic, and is performed with a twinkle in Paul’s eyes. It is uplifting, poignant, and a delightful way to while away an hour.

A well crafted and beautifully delivered homage to a true British genius. Paulus and Michael chose some of her lesser known songs, some incredibly poignant and some hilarious, and didn’t let a lyric from this wonderful wordsmith be missed.
A pure joy!

A proper treat for all Victoria Wood fans. I loved it!

Paulus and Michael performed Victoria's fantastic songs with warmth and style. Of course Barry and Frieda is genius but I'm so pleased they also sang Crush - for me, the most perfect of her songs

Importantly, Looking For Me Friend, is an exceptionally funny hour, and one that genuinely brings people together in celebration. If you’re thinking of booking, don’t be a Pamela Patricia, instead be a Freda, and declare proudly ‘let’s do it…tonight’.
