Description
Internationally acclaimed bluesman Lone Bear brings to the stage the powerful delta blues and ragtime on resonator guitar, harmonica and vocals. Joined by Georgia Slim on the iconic washboard, which gives a driving rhythm, this show features early acoustic blues from the 1920s and 30s, hill country blues, raucous ragtime numbers and Lone Bear's own unpretentious original songs. Using the bottleneck slide, a syncopated fingerpicking style, soulful vocals and railroad-inspired percussion, the duo revive the raw energy and spirit of the Deep South in a stunning vintage speakeasy cellar. Old school blues at its finest. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
