Description
Elias Werner‘s first international stand-up special Live and Deaf happened by accident. Since he is deaf, the Austrian comic simply didn’t realise he was performing in English all of a sudden. www.instagram.com/liaswernerPlease note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Prepare for a comedic experience like no other with Elias! His masterful use of tension keeps the audience on the edge of their seats, setting the stage for uproarious punchlines that hit with perfect timing. From relatable anecdotes to clever observations, every moment is a rollercoaster of anticipation and laughter. If you're wanting stand-up that's brilliantly crafted and utterly engaging, Live and Deaf with Elias is an absolute must!

Enjoyed this understated & existential comic relief on the heavy topic of life (without hearing)

Elias was composed and comfortable, delivering intelligent jokes with epic and sometimes dry punchlines. His subtle and unexpected recurrence of themes within his show and his ability to layer jokes upon each other was a delight to hear; these skills are sought by a comedian. He is also engaging with his audience, wanting to get to know them and delighted to listen to them. A great experience which I'd strongly recommend.

In places darker than Josef Fritzl's basement. Funny, awkward, dry, educational & well delivered in equal measure. Privelege to have seen him. Pleasure to speak with him afterwards.
