For as long as she can remember Isabella has had butterflies living inside her tummy. They flutter around every day and she wishes they would go away. One cold night, under the light of the moon, she sees little wings flapping inside her room. A tiny little moth searching for a glow will teach Isabella that she too has wings to grow. Join us on this enchanting journey to help Isabella chase away the butterflies, spread her own wings and soar. A heart-warming story about feelings, flourishing and finding friendships in the strangest of places.

An incredibly emotional production exploring the feelings that all children experience. We all loved it, age 4, nine as well as parents. One of our favourite shows of the festival. We will be using Little Wings as an example back at home when our children go through difficult emotional times. Brilliantly conceived and performed.

Our 5 year old granddaughter was entranced, and we've had some great conversations about feelings since the show - thank you! Lively and colourful. (Venue really handy for the station!)

This was an incredible show, one I highly encourage any parent or guardian take their young one to see.

Fantastically produced and devised by an incredibly talented cast, Little Wings gently lets the audience know that emotions are a fantastically colorful palate that we've been gifted, which invigorate our lives. The show kept everyone enthralled - not an easy task with a room full of children. The cast's gargantuan performances and varied changes of pace and tone ensured the show skipped along with ease - pausing to add resonance to the deeper beats.

All three performers were displayed so much exuberance and empathy throughout, it was difficult not to quickly establish a strong connection to them and to the message - emotional expression is a beautiful thing, even when the emotions are on the darker side.

Such a heart warming and cleverly written show full of delights for adults and children alike. A fantastic, engaging energy from all three performers and a message so vital for positive mental health. I was undone and uplifted simultaneously. Well done Pacerepco!

Disarmingly deep and a beautifully warm production.

Went with my 5 and 2 yr old. They both loved it. At 40mins it was just right and the small intimate venue was perfect for introducing children to the theatre. Super impressed with the production by PACE -would recommend.

Little Wings is an exciting, colourful and incredibly moving piece of theatre that will appeal to adults as well as their children. The cast use a range of storytelling techniques including puppetry, music, movement and a whole host of characters which kept the children in the audience engaged and all of their senses buzzing throughout the whole play. To be able to deal with the subject of anxiety and other feelings in a way that is accessible to children is very impressive and I found the piece really touching. If you’re looking for a piece of children’s theatre to see at the fringe then this is it!

Very fun filled with important messages aimed for younger children but accessible and enjoyable for all ages! Couldn’t keep the smile off my face.
