Description

This piece of devised physical theatre addresses the human element in our species' historic desire to make war. Whether real bloodshed or schoolyard squabbles, Little Wars explores the nature of human conflict by imagining it as a ritual. An ideal future society, one that has transcended human conflict, enacts a ritual to invoke the memory of our self-destructive impulses and in doing so, transform it. Our humble company from the American midlands welcomes all to become a part of the ritual, and to consider their own Little Wars.
