Description

In an alt-reality Brexit Britain, the Government has outsourced democracy to a TV voting show, pizza is banned for its foreign origins and a visa to France now costs €30 (£300). Eventually, Dick has had enough and decides to rejoin the EU all by himself. But with anti-European inspectors, a chorus of Brexiteers and ol' Nige out to get him, how will Dick fare? Based on Aristophanes' Acharnians, director Ollie Harrington's 'original and naturally funny' (TheOpenDoorSite.wordpress.com) script brings all the silliness and satire of ancient Greek comedy to contemporary Britain.
