French bande desinée authors Michel Rodrigue and Michel Janvier bring some of the most memorable characters from French comics (Cubitus, Rantanplan, Marsupilami, Boule and Bill) from the page to the puppet stage. Proposing the double bill of a comedic take on Camille Saint-Saëns’ Le Carnaval des animaux and a new work, Un Gâteau pour Cubitus (A Cake for Cubitus), Rodrigue and Janvier celebrate the 50th anniversary of the famous dog (Tintin) and le 9e art in general. Post-show meetings with the puppeteers and bande dessinée masterclasses accompany this show.
