Description
The word Latchepen is an exclamation of happiness in the Romani language. Led by Scottish jazz violinist Matt Holborn, this is a night of acoustic jazz influenced by Django Reinhardt. Expect old jazz tunes and new music with fiery guitars and swinging violin, a charismatic performance that takes the listener on a journey through the world of Manouche music and shows its fusion with jazz and swing by the late great gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt. Matt Holborn, violin. Kourosh Kanani, guitar. Harry Diplock, guitar. Simon Read, bass. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
