Description

Kissing a Fool is a queer clown-cabaret musical tribute to George Michael. We speculatively dive into the pop star's psyche at the lowest point in his life: after the death of his lover and losing a public court battle, he thought he’d never write another note. This experimental musical is a mischievous enquiry into the effect of toxic media cultures, queer mental health and the tragedy of alienation in an interconnected world. By following his creative journey, we witness the transformation of grief into creativity and transcendence through song.
