Kevin's style is excellent and entertaining. In all honesty, I preferred the style of his other show (For my next trick) which is in a much simpler venue and was more 'stripped down'. This is a much 'showier' show - lots of technical tricks and effects - but none the worse for that - very much recommended.

I consider myself a pretty cynical man and often think "I know how they did this" with most entertainment, but I got absolutely sucked into Neon Future. An hour of great entertaining tricks that had me gripped, and without wishing to spoil the finale, an ending that left me genuinely tense. A must see show for magic fans and non magic fans alike.

This was our very first show this year. I’d give it 3/5. The show was OK and Kevin is likable however we went in expecting a magic show but it was more of a comedy show with the occasion magic trick thrown in. My partner and I would have preferred more magic and less dad jokes.

My 10-year-old and I saw this show on Saturday. We'd seen Kevin compere a show at last year's fringe, and really enjoyed his stuff - this solo show was just as good. He does a great mix of tricks including mind reading, prediction and sleight of hand. His spin on the cups and balls trick was brilliant, and the finale was as nail biting as it was brilliant. There was plenty of audience participation too, and Kevin was great with adults and kids alike. We would both love to see him again, and definitely recommend Neon Future as a great show for all the family

This was a delightfully entertaining show delivered by the charismatic and lovable Kevin Quantum. He has a real knack at interacting with the audience, especially easing on stage nerves for any audience members who are lucky enough to participate in some of his incredible magic! This was the first time I had seen Kevin and it certainly won’t be the last. His magic wizardry blew my mind and the ending was fantastic! A truly explosive show! Go see him! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is an awesome show with some amazing magic and Kevin himself is an awesome guy with great stage presence. Neon Future is perfectly suited to both adults and kids and Kevin makes sure to let the kids get involved. I was lucky enough to get to go on stage and be part of a trick and although I had my eyes closed and couldn't see what was happening, the reaction of the audience was incredible and my mum keeps telling everyone about it!

If magic is your thing (and even if it's not!) get to Kevin Quantum's show!! 5 Stars!

Don't believe the "Magician/Scientist hybrid" tag, there's no science in it, it's a typical magic show.
Like most magicians these days, Kevin is charasmatic and a very good presenter. The audience are always intensely engaged.
But how good was the magic though? Err, not great I think. A few tricks I didn't understand and was left wondering if it was actually meant to be impressive. A few more I could guess the secret to and I saw many people in the audience felt they could too. There were quite a few mentalist routines which weren't different enough to justify there being so many of them.
The pace was ponderous and I felt Kevin was more interested in telling jokes and stories and keeping suspence rather than getting on with more magic.

It's not all bad, it's engaging and the majority of tricks were successfully pulled off which the audience clearly enjoyed.

I don't know, I'm a former magician myself so maybe I'm being too critical.

Brilliant show, terrific magician, funny and mind-blowing in equal proportions. 5*

Great show-a mixture of mainly new effects and also new takes on some classic effects. As a magician myself I was fooled and entertained. Kevin had a great rapport with the audience and was very amusing. A good show for the family. While you're waiting for the show to start check out the backdrop-the UV lights give a 3D effect!

This show had something for all our family - a mixture of science, magic, laughs and audience participation. Futuristic feel at times (personally, I loved the Matrix references) paired with a variety of magic tricks, plus an explosive ending! Good show, suitable for families.

Great Show! Went with my family - sister, niece, husband and parents, and everyone loved it! Kevin has great stage chat - really friendly, and the audience participation was fab as a result. Fun tricks and illusions (we all particularly loved the sleight of hand magic) and an explosive finish which had us all on the edge of our seats. This is the second time we’ve seen Kevin and we’ll definitely come back again next year :-)

Lovely show! I'm still trying to figure out how he did some of his tricks, wow!
Great dude, super warm and happy, loved the show. Cheers man!

Fun show with some explosive tricks. With a watch but I have no idea how he does the tricks.

It is a clever show. With some bangs! No idea how he does some of the tricks which are impressive. A warm, engaging performer.

An excellent hour's entertainment - comedy, magic and physics rolled into one.

Both Neon Future and Kevin’s later show (Now for my next trick 2) are excellent entertainment and both definitely worth a look. The family will love Neon Future and for adults and older kids, Kevin’s later show is great fun. There is good reason his shows get packed out.... A must see at this years Fringe

I had a great time at the show, which is a mix of unique impressive tricks, and very well executed more classical tricks. Also loved all the range of emotions we go through: part of the show are very funny, some others a bit philosophical, some others very intense.
I totally would recommend that show, whether you are a magic lover or just want to spend an hour having a good time!

Not the best magic show. Entertaining and worth a watch if you are looking for a kid friendly hour, but really nothing special. Very formulaic with cliche tricks that most of the other Fringe magicians are doing the same. Kept my 11 year old focused.

Seen Kevin the last few years and love his presentation style and tricks but felt this year was maybe not quite as good as in the past. That said the show is still great and well worth seeing.

Loved this show! Excellent content and execution. Really enjoyed that it was a comedy too.

The Wee Review (3/5 stars) 71 days ago

It’s the end of the Fringe, and ‘magician-scientist hybrid’ Kevin Quantum looks lovably rumpled – as though he’d been snoozing with his head on a lab bench, when suddenly he was called to the stage. It doesn’t quite match the razor-sharp image conveyed by his posters, but in truth it...

Quantum’s theme matches his title—the future—and from there his show explodes in all directions, encompassing everything from personal musings into the possibilities of a robotically enhanced humanity, the dialectic debate of destiny versus free will, The Matrix… and more typically magical pretensions to genuine clairvoyance.

Kevin Quantum is a skilled performer who is also very likeable and he immediately established a great rapport with the audience. [...] My children and I loved Neon Future: it was fast-paced, funny and there were some jaw-dropping moments of magic.

The Neon Future involving mind-reading television sets and a new twist on a classic trick as Quantum’s home-made transporter pad performs a simultaneous physics experiment and magic trick, the stated aim is “to show you magic that you haven’t seen before,” and in that he succeeds.
