Kevin’s energy & enthusiasm for live magic is undeniable and the massive grin on his face throughout the show radiates to the whole audience. A fun, upbeat, meaningful and wholehearted performance that highlights what really matters. ★★★★★

As a bit of a magic naysayer, I was attracted by the idea of "science" paired with magic tricks. Not being from the UK, I had no idea about his performance on Britain's Got Talent, but read some reviews and thought I'd give it a try since it was one of the more expensive shows I was going to.

Was I ever disappointed!!! For what I received from this show, I could have gone to my local traveling fair. He spent far more time talking than actually doing tricks/illusions. He didn't really put science into magic with his tricks, just talked about science and how we're all composed of "dark matter." He only has a couple of shows left, but save your time and money--give this one a pass.

Fabulous show. I have seen Kevin perform before so was delighted he was performing at the fringe this year. Fabulous magic, lots of laugh and some dancing. Would highly recommend.

Breathtaking! Am still scratching my head about the tricks now - not the first clue how he did any of them. Genuine sorcery!

Saw Kevin Quantum on Thursday night with my 2 kids, 13 and 9. We all really enjoyed it - really engaging, great magic and made the audience feel at ease - a few fringe performers could learn a lot from Kevin. Great showman - definitly recommend.

Another great show from this even greater illusionist and scientific magician whom teaches us all we have dark matter

from the off Kevin entertained making the audience laugh he even got audience participation which was very entertaining but to see his illusions and magic is so mind bending it gets your own mind racing to the amazing wonderment os how he does what he does but we all know why he is a master of magic thats why and we can not give too much away but to ask you all out there to get tickets as his show was a sell out last fringe

Outstanding

A nicely delivered performance by a great magician. Kevin has a lovely soft approach when bringing reluctant people onto his stage. Everyone enjoyed his amazing magic. One for the whole family.

As a family of magic fans, we were not disappointed by Kevin’s performance at this year’s Fringe. Kevin has a great stage presence and comes across really well. The audience participation parts of the show were really well executed, in particular the card trick which involved a hilarious audience member, the legend that is Sandy.
Suspend your disbelief, head along and enjoy the show!

Really enjoyed it. Great performer and some really impressive sleight of hand. Maybe you can guess how it's done but he's the one you on stage making it look very polished.

Edinburgh fringe has so much choice and if you don’t go and see this, that is the wrong choice and an epic fail on your part. Thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. Great magic and many a funny moment created by Kevin. Raging that I have to wait a year for the next show, but it’s gonna be worth it if this one is anything to go by. Can’t recommend this show enough.

The review below is 100% from a rival who is performing in front of an empty room every night lol Someone give him a cuddle

1* - Butlins comes to the Fringe. A total of 8 cheap, unimpressive parlour tricks somehow spread over an hour to an audience of hundreds who value a Britain's Got Talent appearance over anything else. Was our first and only magic show of the Fringe in which we saw 40 shows in a week, only to tick a genre we hadn't seen yet, and regretted every second of it.

Amazing show! The whole family loved it and left wondering how the hell did he do that

I saw the preview show. Very entertaining and a great family show. Cleaver magic that will be great for anyone

Great to be back seeing Kevin Quantum with the audience participation not too scary this time and he puts us at ease with his gentle funny intimate style. As usual, he lulls us with his up-close card and memory tricks then pulls a blinder at the end. Magnets? Superglue? Hidden threads? Nope, still guessing!

I'm a cynic but thoroughly enjoyed your show, just wish I could figure out how it's done - well done

Kevin starts off successfully guessing drink an audience member is thinking of, and from then on continues with a polished show of patter and new magic. I am reluctant to use the word “tricks”, because my cynicism took such a beating. While my stepson and I could figure out some of the magic, there were some that left us astounded.

It is early in the Fringe, and I have only seen 36 shows of the around 160 I will see. So far, this was the third most enjoyable I have seen at the Fringe this year. You may see my other three-sentence reviews, in order from most enjoyable to worst, at my non-commercial website: https://fringefan.com/

Excellent show yesterday (6th Aug).
We were in the front row but still have no idea how you do it.
Maximum audience participation! How does that leaflet thing work??
Scariest bit…giving my son the calculation to do.
Hope you get more participants like Colin, he’s probably still talking about it.
Thanks again for such a fun show and good luck for the rest of the run.

From amazing sleight of hand tricks to dark matter, and everything in between, Kevin Quantum provided a series of “how did he do that?!” moments to befuddle and amuse the audience. Great fun and sure to be one of the hits of the fringe. See him in a small-ish venue while you still can!

Quantum is, as ever, a hit of the family-friendly Fringe program.

The show may be called Dark Matter, but that is a misnomer, for while what he does matters very much in these exhausting and joyless times, what he brings is levity and light.
