Description
Hip words, cool jazz, hot bebop. Celebrate the centenary of Angelheaded Hipster Jack Kerouac's birth, in an homage to the author of the classic novel, On The Road. A sideways glance featuring the words and music that reflect Kerouac's inner life and world through the eyes of Neal Cassady, Carolyn Cassady, LuAnne Henderson, Allen Ginsberg, Memere (Kerouac's mother) and Kerouac himself. The Beat generation were frowned upon by the establishment and ridiculed by their contemporaries, however they were the inspiration for the likes of Bob Dylan, Morrissey and The Beatles.
