1978. London. An aspiring playwright in a rundown flat-share off the North End Road wrestles with his masterpiece for the Royal Court. Then the phone rings. The man on the other end is called Ken... and he's about to change the young man's life forever. Following runs at the Hampstead and Bunker Theatres, Olivier and Tony Award-winning writer Terry Johnson – who also stars alongside Jeremy Stockwell – once more pays tribute to the truly original Ken Campbell. A wickedly funny retelling of an extraordinary friendship from beginning to end. 'A paean to a spirit of adventure' **** (Times).
