Kate Lucas – Positive Vibes Only

Comedy (music, cabaret)

Venue Age Restriction: Strictly 18+

Description

This is the brand-new album from award-winning comedy songstress Kate Lucas, inspired by #PositiveVibesOnly. It's a lot of pressure only being allowed to emit positive vibes. Anyone could crack under that sort of pressure and just let rip for a full hour…! In her typical, 'deliciously dark' (Chortle.co.uk) fashion, Kate ponders through witty lyrics and catchy instrumental what a world with only positive vibes would look like and how she might escape such a hellscape. If this show in any way soils your positive vibe, she is truly, deeply soz.

I loved it. I highly recommend seeing this show. It’s sad, true, funny, dark-humoured, light and full of not so positive vibes, but in the end I left with a smile on my face and felt better. It’s really great! I just don’t have enough (positive) words to describe it.

Really loved this show! Lots of laughs. Witty and well observed songs and stories. Catchy melodies (still singing the title song's chorus) Warm, funny, charismatic host. My favourite show of the Fringe!

This was a very good show. Kate has a warm presence on stage and manages to combine some tightly produced songs with a general air of chaos. I came away with positive vibes (its an earworm).
