Description

Just Festival is Edinburgh's human rights and social justice festival. Its theme for 2023 is Displacement, and it focuses on displaced people, climate, environments, objects and sounds through visual art, dance, music and conversations. Its central exhibition, titled Pathways to Peace from Disparate Points runs throughout the Fringe and brings together artworks created by Ukrainians and Edinburgh locals. It explores the building of compassionate and constructive relationships between people from disparate points of geography, culture, and life. It includes photography, hand-built pottery vessels, a loom sculpture, a musical performance, and the Peacemaker’s Loom, an interactive French knitting loom.
