Description

Let the ensemble take you on a journey of sound and motion through a modern artistic portrayal of this 1,400 year-old spiritual practice. While deeply rooted in the traditional Persian musical modes, MTO Zendeh Delan's® creative practice embraces the multitude of contemporary musical influences that surround us all, seamlessly blending the popular, the classical and the global. Sama (Sufi Whirling) is an outward manifestation of the spiritual core, where the seeker truly hears, sees and experiences the Beloved’s call from within.
