Description

Jon Long (star of Radio 4's Extinction Compendium) is back with more stand-up and songs about our impending doom, with thoughts on how we might yet avoid it. A work-in-progress show from the affable troubadour, with a host of his most acerbic songs and based on nearly a decade's experience in environmental education. 'A necessary reflection on our times… dependably funny' (Fest). 'Long is sassy and self-deprecating with an unexpected edge to him… it’s genuinely delightful' (List). 'Charming, and yes, funny' (Guardian).

Have seen Jon Long several times and really love his shows. Hilarious songs, lovely, self-deprecating and super witty comedian who also makes you think about issues without being at all preachy. Warning though- some of his songs are so catchy that they will stay with you king after the show has finished! Highly recommend!

An engaging, hilarious, and genuinely thoughtful show.

There's no enviro-preaching here - instead, a witty musical take on navigating the complexities of environmental issues/our impending doom. Complete with the nuance and humour usually absent in the debates we have with others and in our own minds.

We liked it so much we paid twice. Go see this show!

Brilliant, lovely, really funny show. I heard Extinction Compendium on Radio 4 which is why I booked this. It is definitely one of the most enjoyable things I have seen this fringe. Thoroughly recommend.
