Show has it all, accents, impressions, stories, and laugh out loud jokes. My cheeks hurts during show, a sign of a good show.

Before the show we chatted to the comedian and he admitted he was dead on his feet but you never would have known with his explosive energy. It's a small setting in a nice venue but he played like it was the Palladium. My partner and I are still laughing this morning. He and the material stay with you. Only show at this year's festival with consistent big laughs from start to finish. If nothing else then you should see the show for the "letter from his nan". Bravo Mr Jon Hipkiss

What a delight to attend Jon's show on Sunday! A show filled with lots of laughs, a whole lot of heart and delivered with so much energy and skill from start to finish. We were still chuckling at some of the gags on the train home.

At the end of the performance the comedian noted that this had felt like a really special show and this was thanks to us in the crowd. My wife and I think this is the opposite. Jon Hipkiss gave us a brilliant show. We felt like we had witnessed something fantastic. Big laughs all the way through and the performer seems to have a big heart to go with it. We agree with all the other reviews on the website. Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant.

Hilarious and delightful! What a great show Jon has written. His performance throughout is incredible. Jon has such a zest for life and is not just a comedian, he is a performer too. His talents of writing and performing shine throughout this show. One of the best shows I have seen at this years fringe. Will definitely watch him again.

I was recommended to go and see Jon by a friend and so glad we followed the recommendation. Jon was fantastic! Introduced by a lad with red hair (sorry I forget his name but he was also very good), Jon went on to perform an energetic, engaging and genuinely very funny show. Reciting real events and touching on some subjects which has had life changing effects which as a true Brit he has made light of in his show, although at times belly laughing funny, its also reassuring for those who can relate. Jon engages really well with the audience, reaching to their level. He also shows a genuine warmness which makes him a likeable person to watch. I went with a group of friends who all really enjoyed his performance and we all agreed we'll be seeing him again when the opportunity arises. Wishing Jon all the very best and looking forward to seeing a show if his again soon.

We saw this show on a last minute decision and this was the first show of the festival where I didn't check the time to see how long was left. Could have quite happily watched this comedian for longer. My boyfriend and I both said that we left the show feeling much happier about the world than before. Brilliant time. Would probably see again

I had seen this comedian do a small spot on another show and wanted to check out his main event. Saw this show last night and it was an absolute class act. The performer is the most naturally gifted stand-up I've seen and wholly unique with perfect comic timing and physical comedy that you don't really see much anymore. Add to that we spoke to the guy after the show and he's incredibly humble and friendly. Highly recommended.

Absolutely hilarious. Guarantee this is not the last we will see of him, his material, delivery and talent make it certain we are going to see him on stage at The Apollo one day. A must see.

I'll keep this short. Me and my partner have seen a lot of shows so far and this is the best show we've seen at the fringe all week. Slick and professional stand up. Hugely likeable performer and naturally talented. Won't be free for much longer.

Jon's stand-up was an instant hit with an engaging, confident yet humble stage presence. His endearing personality shone through, while diverse content mixed self-deprecation and enthusiasm seamlessly. The intimate venue complemented his welcoming, grateful demeanor and helped to showcase his genuine enjoyment for what he does on stage! Thanks for a brilliant show, Jon - I look forward to seeing you next year!!

Fresh-faced enthusiastic West Midlands comic deserving of a bigger audience. This was a work in progress but Jon’s likeable persona marks him down as one to watch. Plenty of Skinneresque self-deprecation with a good range of laugh out loud moments. Venue is the Little White Pig, a cosy bar in Dublin Street, Newtown. Go and see him while he’s cheap. Or in this case, free.
