Very calm atmosphere for a good, decent show full of different voices, looking from his early radio career to now continuing with Dead Ringers, the impressions did keep coming fast.

Nice to have a show firmly aimed at the over 70s. References to long dead celebrities left anyone under 50 baffled. Shame that the venue is aimed at lithe, nimble petite people then; watching people trying to negotiate the ridiculously tight seating with walking sticks was appalling and explains why the show started 10 minutes late. A shame as Jon is amazingly talented.

It was a real pleasure to see a master at work - absolutely excellent. A highlight of the fringe.
Mind you, the venue was desperately uncomfortable as we were squeezed down ridiculously tight rows where we sat in chairs which had us in pain for most of the show.

it's always nice to see one or two big names at Ed Fringe and this proved to be a good choice. The format, in which he lightheartedly demonstrates the technicalities of how he transitions between different voices, may not be that original and doesn't appear to have required much writing but, as someone who can never resist a peek behind the scenes, I loved it. His impressions really are spot-on and I was pleased with myself for recognising almost all of them.

The voices are superb - uncanny at times - plenty of them too - not dwelling on any for too long. Jon as always ooze’s charisma.
As mentioned before though many of them are from the past. There’s not much at all for your average teenager/ early twenties to associate with eg George Formby, Les Dawson, Patrick Moore et al are waiting in the wings.

Really enjoyed the majority of this show by such a talented impressionist but my party felt that the Les Dawson aspects are dated and could be dropped. Other than that, it's 5 stars from us and would definitely return.

Brilliant and pure joy! So clever, loved the Hamlet soliloquy being delivered by about ten different but instantly recognisable voices. Five stars!!

Loved it.what a talent for impersonation of politicians to pop stars along with original songs and material about those being impersonated. Shame the last ten minutes were the slowest.

Brilliant, simply brilliant enunciation of such a wide range of speech/ voices.
Jon comfortably moves between past voice exploits - updating output from past radio shows - to the identifiable quirks ( and similarities ) of new, popular personalities.
His rendition of words of one song sung to a different tune got the vote as the best in our group…
