Description

Written by Joffrey himself, this retelling of the first season of Game of Thrones as a traditional pantomime is the true story of Joffrey’s fight to secure his rightful place on the Iron Throne, untainted by certain Season Eight. Marvel as the handsome Prince Joffrey fights to secure his rightful throne. Aww as he woos the beautiful Lady Sansa Stark. Boo and hiss at the dastardly villainous schemes of Ned Stark. After sold-out runs in Norwich and London, Joffrey! is headed to the Edinburgh Fringe 2022. Warning: this show contains bad language, adult themes and audience participation.

Had an absolute blast at the Joffrey pantomime! Despite a small audience, it was very engaging with a very committed and funny cast (stellar performances particularly came from Joffrey and Ned in my opinion, with Robert Baratheon reliably hilarious every time he was on stage). While it would have been fun to have had some songs or a little more music, the cast carried this super fun plot excellently and I had a fantastic afternoon!

Made me laugh the most out of anything I've seen here, and tbh after the stress of fringe getting to boo to my hearts content was very cathartic. An excellent performance from all the actors, and a very good use of lighting. Gloriously over the top all around, and worth making time for in your schedule.

Very funny panto based on GOT! Excellent performances by all cast members.

Joffrey the panto is just as fun and whacky as you could wish for. With a fun and tight script and great comedic acting by the whole cast, though for us Littlefinger was the star of the show. I heartily recommend Joffrey the panto!

Knowing nods towards the original source, several entertaining running gags and more than a dash of Starkid in the lead performance make this a thoroughly enjoyable show that you don’t need to be a GOT geek to appreciate.

Joffrey! The Pantomime is an hour of random inside jokes that is a good time for a Game of Thrones fan, but be warned: If you have never had any interaction with the series, this is definitely not for you.
