Description

The Bristolian bumbling ex-darts champ is back. A calamitous Q&A and whirlwind journey into the soul of an idiot. The beer-swigging, pie-munching fallen star is setting the record straight in this off-beat physical/character comedy show. Character comedian Jody is responsible for cult internet character Terry the Odd Job Man becoming a mini-celebrity in his home town of Bristol and selling out some of Bristol's largest venues. He has also worked with Harry Hill on the madcap TV project Harry Hill’s Tea Time, and alongside Bernard Hill in the film Golden Years.

Reminiscent of Nick Helm in his early days. This is a show that will leave you laughing, as the audience interaction takes an unexpected turn at every path it comes across. But Kamali stays solid and keeps the tempo going, capturing the imagination and attention of the 34 seated in 75 person arena (a lesser crowd than what he is used to!). Utterly brilliant. Well worth spending your time watching.

The Wee Review (3/5 stars) 90 days ago

Darts and All puts us on the oche for the rise and fall (and rise again?) of Jody Kamali’s comic creation, darts legend Mike Daly. ‘Dazzling’ Daly’s star burned quick and bright at the turn of the 90s. He rose fast from Bristolian roots through the South East London amateur...
