Description

A gritty piece of drama, this powerful, 60-minute theatre production is not for the faint-hearted. Set on a deserted Waterford wharf, Stella, a middle-aged prostitute and ‘jetty star’ released from prison, revisits the place she once plied her trade and tells her tale in graphic detail that leaves little to the imagination. Playwright Noel Kelly constructs a web of interweaving storylines that involve many people and issues, as Stella’s journey of pain is dumped on the stage floor like Monday's washing. Directed by the renowned James Power of Stagemad Theatre Company.
