Description

'You must suffer me to go my own dark way...' Stevenson's classic science-horror is reborn, with award-winning performer Heather-Rose Andrews in the titular role. Class, terror and hypocrisy in Victorian London; the search for self collides with the lure of the sensuous, taking its toll on all around Jekyll and Hyde. Winner: Best Performance of 2021 (CNS Theatre Awards). Sell-out show: Dundee Fringe, 2021. 'The most viscerally convulsive realisation of Jekyll or Hyde imaginable' (FringeReview.co.uk). 'Mesmerising... we couldn't help but watch despite wanting to turn away in horror' ***** (BroadwayBaby.com).

Absolutely stunning. I went to see it twice and was just as glued to the performance the second time as the first. Heather's stage presence and physical acting ability are unlike anything I've ever seen, and the adaptation of the classic book was both completely unique and yet still true to the heart of the story. Hands down, the best of the Fringe this year for me.

This show was fantastic! Came in knowing nothing and was blown away. Intimate and intense. Your physicality and vocal work were riveting. This was the best Jekyll and Hyde adaptation I’ve ever seen. One of my favs at the festival! Go see it!

Incredible! You will not believe the physical transformations Heather conveys between the two characters- sometimes prolonged, sometimes instant.

Make time for this show!

Andrew’s performance is captivating, mesmerising, and as grand as it is intimate, drawing her audience into the world she has created and weaving a story which still asks us to consider what is anyone’s true nature, and how much of ourselves do we hide from the world for fear of censorship and judgement.
