Description

A great song is a great song forever! The team behind the hugely successful Cry Me a River: The Songs of Julie London and Jazz at the Movies return. Acclaimed London-based jazz/blues/soul vocalist Kerry-Jo Hodgkin, with long-time collaborator, guitarist Malcolm MacFarlane, creates new jazz/blues interpretations of songs from singer/songwriters prominent in the 1970s. ‘Kerry just has one of those voices that sort of melts all around you and all you have to do is just sit back and listen' ***** (Southside Advertiser). 'Infectiously warm-toned and sassy' (Scotsman). ‘Controlled, accomplished demeanour’ (JazzReview). ‘A charismatic performer’ (Fest).
