Description

For the first time James performs his multi award-winning trilogy of storytelling shows, Team Viking, A Hundred Different Words for Love and Revelations back-to-back in one evening. As James weaves his stories in and out and through each other, come and experience his joyous hymn to friendship in all its messy glory as a single larger story with special extra bits throughout. You'll laugh. You'll cry. Again and again. Starting at 9pm and ending at 1am, with short breaks in between each story, come and be part of a very special Edinburgh experience.

James Rowland's Songs of Friendship (trilogy) (*****)
Rowland tells three stories about his two lifelong friends. The tales move from dealing with the death of loved ones to James’ big crush to the challenges of integrating a new friend into the tight group. We had seen the third story last year, but is more powerful with the extensive backstory afforded by the previous two.

This was the second most enjoyable of the 129 Fringe shows I have seen so far this year. You may see my other three-sentence reviews, in order from most enjoyable to worst, at my non-commercial website: www.fringefan.com.
